Abigail is a Middle Tennessee native.
She went to Dekalb County High School then became a graduate of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, holding a degree in Animal Science.
Abigail has known from a young age that animals were her passion and that she wanted to devote her life to caring for them in some capacity. She started her work in the veterinary field as a receptionist as a 24-hour emergency hospital and grew from there into a veterinary nurse. Abigail came to work at Animal Care Veterinary Hospital in 2014. She was promoted to Assistant Hospital Manager in 2022 and became the Hospital Manager in 2025.
Abigail has loved watching so many pets grow and age over the years. She loves still seeing patients come through ACVH’s door that were puppies and kittens when she started 11 years ago. She is also passionate about client education and can talk to anyone about animal behavior and potty training all day!
In her free time Abigail enjoys reading, photography, and antique shopping.
Abigail lives in Murfreesboro with her husband. They are expecting their first child this year. She also shares her home with two amazing retrievers, Maggie and Wyatt, as well as two terrible cats, Me Mow and Kal.
